Female Infant Refuge

This is our second baby “Angeline” she was born on 09-08-2006 in a private hospital. We brought her to our home on 11-08-2006. Her parents are of a middle class family. She was also born during Aady. At the time of delivery they were prepared with poison. If the baby is female, they had decided to immediately kill her. They attempted to kill her, but by God’s grace the midwife was watching them and knew of their plans. She came into the room and told them, "don’t kill her! Please give her to me. I can give her to someone!" The parents got up and left, leaving Angel behind. Usually when a lady delivers she will rest for at least 5 days, being very tired and in lots of pain. But this lady left the same day for home! We can’t believe that! Anyway, now our lovely baby is playing in our hand. She is very smart and beautiful. Every time we see her laugh our heart is overflowing with Joy. We thank God for her daily.
