Female Infant Refuge

Every day we hear story after story about baby girls getting killed by their parents. 90% of the murderers no one can find. That much clandestinely does that. Sometimes people will inform the police or government officer. We see these kinds of stories in the newspaper often. Here are some of the stories that I have collected.

Put a girl baby in the "Dustbin"

On January 2007 we heard a terrible story that happened to a newborn, baby girl. We ask you to pray for these people who are doing these terrible things to these children. The same thing is happening all over India, particularly in Tamil Nadu.

We read a true story from the newspaper on January 4th, 2007. Our hearts were truly broken. A merciless parent put a girl baby in the dustbin. That village is exactly where we received our third baby Erika from. When I read this news in the news paper I called my coworker and asked him what happened. He told that the parents were expecting a baby boy, but they got a girl, so they decided to kill it. At midnight when all the people were sleeping, they brought the baby outside of the village and put in a dustbin! They may have killed it before they did that but since they went out at midnight no one knows for sure. Before the morning dogs came and ate the baby. How awful! What a sad. Morning, when the people saw it spread everywhere. Then the reporters came and put the news in the daily news paper.
