Female Infant Refuge

Hannah, born on 25-09-2007 in the Madurai district came into our home on 28-10-2007. In some locations of the village very dark skin is frowned upon. Our dear Hannah came out of the womb very dark. Her parents were appalled! "This baby is NOT beautiful!” they said. And to make matters worse for the parents they had a baby girl. This meant only one thing. They wanted to kill her. Fortunately for us, Hannah has joined our family. She is rolling around and is quite mobile! We've applied some oils and bathed her in turmeric to lighten her skin. Look at the second pictures to see the difference! We look forward to watching her continue to grow as a young lady.
