Strategy:

Save 20 babies from the death before the end of 2009
Place two staffs to work among the girl baby Murderer before the end of December 2009.
Conduct 10 “Infanticide Eradication Awareness Programs” before the end of 2009.
Start two children ministry within a 6 months’ time.
Conduct a CBC Program on the month of April & May in Madurai District.
Meet government official leaders to finish all legal work of Girl Baby home before July 2009.
Communicate with other Churches, organization and NGOs by E-mail, News letter, phone call and visit.
Send a staff to do a “Child Development Corse” for 6 months before the end of 2009.

Plans for Sustainability and Growth:

We are spending all of our time to accomplish our vision, and Gods mission. While caring for these unwanted baby girls and ministering in the murdering districts. We will continue to do the following:
Talk with the village leaders and bring the issues before them,
Unite local churches to pray for the project and the villages,
Raise funds from local churches as well as foreign churches,
Pursue a theological degree in biblical and social studies.

Achievement from June 2006 to December 2008:

Saved 9 babies from the death.
1.Grace, 2.Angeline, 3.Erika, 4.Kelsey, 5.Jenifer, 6.Blessey, 7.Hannah, 8.Trisha and 9.Sharon.
Conducted Infanticide Eradication Awareness Programs in six different villages.
We don't only have the challenge of saving babies lives; we are also working to change peoples' minds on their viewpoint that baby girls aren't valuable. We want to see the “Transformation” among these people and bring them to Christ. For a couple of months we were praying to conduct “Awareness program” in the particular areas, by God’s grace we have conducted six “Infanticide Eradication Awareness Program” in the Madurai district. After we conduct this program we have seen changes in their mindset and the number of babies being murdered is going down from 100 to 60 parentages. We are sure within several years this practice will no longer be happening. “Praise the Lord!”

About Madurai District:

In Madurai ,7 Taluks and 12 Blocks, one of the Taluk is called “Usilampatty”. In this taluk most of the people are killing their girl babies. According to 2001 senses the total population of this taluk is 179,232. The majority are Hindus. The Christian population is only 2,235 people (1.25%) We conducted six programs in six needy villages.

Collected information from the field, News paper and organizations.

We are collecting the news from various places about infants’ murder. We are finding out how they are killing the babies and why they think this is acceptable. Every day we are collecting the information we need. Visiting various children homes and talking with the leaders, how they are managing and what the problem they face, this visit really helps us to care our babies. In some homes treating children is very bad, place they staying are very ugly, wearing cloths was very old and tear, many of the children really longing for love, some children they do not have enough food. We learned lots of plus and minus points from the visit. These all rally helped us to be careful and care our babies well, our babies crowing as “King’s Kids” Yes! That is true before God. One mission leader came to our home to visit our babies, he asked what kinds of food you providing for them? When I explain him, he asked me, why you are giving like these costly foods. I said him: Jesus is Father of these babies, just He appointed us to care for him, and we do what he says to do. These are not simple children, they going to turn the world. Yes! When they grown they will change the world and build the kingdom of God.

Finished 70% of legal work of baby home:

In India it was very difficult to get permission to start the “Girl baby home". As far as we know there is a very few girl baby home in Tamil Nadu. It belongs to Tamil Nadu government. Many NGOs tried to get permission from government to start a baby home, but government wouldn't give it. We only can get permission for Charitable Trust. We prayed before we went to the government to ask for permission. We gave the application to District Collector and the social welfare office. After one month we received a letter from them that they had accepted our letter and they will give license within a year. HOW AMAZING! Now we can run the home. Praise the Lord, through this our faith has grown stronger, then 6 moths back one team came from the social welfare office to visit our home and babies, they really satisfied and promise soon they finish all the formalities, so we have been confirmed that this is God’s will for us. We have also made an approach for 12AA and 80-G. The income tax deportments agreed to give it to us. Right now we have 12AA, waiting for the 80G, and FCRA, we hope we will get that soon.

Raised 4 staffs to work with the project:

Excluding Kumari and I we have 4 staff working with us to take care babies. 3 of them paying staff, one is volunteer, hopefully from 2009 we have to pay her. Until we received our second baby we didn't have any staff with us. We prayed to God to give staff as the same vision like us to care these babies. Many people came, but they didn’t stay long, only they stay those had the real heart over these babies, these 4 staff really shows so much love with the babies and care well. We are so thankful for them and the work they are doing for our Heavenly Father.

Raised more than 1500 sincere prayer partners in and out of India:

We are taking on a huge task, any time Satan can attach with us and our babies, always we need more prayer, strongly we believe that the prayer can change the thing, so we all stayed in prayer and ask other people to be join in our prayer support group. So far we have raised more than 1500 prayer partners in and out of India. All of them are praying for us personally, as a team and as a church. Praise the Lord.
